![]() ![]() Even Hotwire under certain circumstances will offer a refund to their regular customers if they are unsatisfied where-as priceline will not. i WISH Priceline had a rewards program or VIP section for customers who use it regularly i would DEFINITELY be at platinum status by now, and i wish they were a bit more lenient with their regular customers if their is an issue or concern with a final sale booking. For example, Hotwire often advertises 3 star hotels which are comparable to 2 stars etc. I am a Hotwire VIP and i have to say that im so much more pleasantly surprised by Priceline's hotels! I notice the unpublished rates section has a lot of the same hotels as hotwire, usually at much LESS than hotwire, and u can even get deeper deals a lot of the time with name your own price! Also, their are tru to their advertised star ratings for the most part, where-as with hotwire sometimes u have to book a star level above what you're looking for just to ensure that you get what you want. Until Priceline starts showing the hidden hotel fees, their bidding program will continue to flounder. We paid the Priceline published price for this stay and got exactly what we were expecting. The biggest issue I have had with Priceline and its partners (hotels) is the hidden hotel fees. We typically use their bidding process except in this case we bought the room at Priceline’s published rate. Priceline comes through! (This time) But many times doesn'tĪlthough we have used Priceline for years, I must admit we have stopped using Priceline for the last year or so mainly due to no fault of its own but rather fault of non-disclosure from it’s hotels it partners with.
